TF Cornerstone Brings Verizon Wireless to the Upper East Side

The leading wireless company is bringing their retail store to 201 East 69th Street

NEW YORK (May 09, 2011) – Verizon Wireless recently signed a ten-year lease for over 3,000 square feet with TF Cornerstone at the Upper East Side luxury rental building The Fairfax, located on 201 East 69th Street. The communications industry leader will be opening the new retail location in summer 2011.

“We are delighted to have Verizon joining our retail mix at The Fairfax. They are moving into a prime corner location at 69th and Third Avenue that will generate high foot traffic for the store,” says Steve Gonzalez of TF Cornerstone.

Robert Gibson of Cushman and Wakefield represented the tenant in the transaction.

Verizon Wireless is the leader of its industry. The company employs over 85,000 people and had a total of $63.4 billion in annual revenue in 2010. Verizon leads the trade with 104 million connections, including 88.4 million retail customers and 15.6 million wholesale clients.

The company joins existing tenants Gracious Home, The Vitamin Shoppe, and Washington Mutual at the TF Cornerstone’s luxury rental building.
